Which we practice with limited and shallow plowing
We use grazing cover crops such as radishes, hairy vetch, rye and barley. These cover crops protect the top soil and push nitrogen back into the land, feeding important microbes into the soil to maintain healthy ecosystems.
We practice crop rotation, as well as growing cover crops with our cash crop.
This practice increases the efficiency of plant roots to gain nutrients from the healthy soil.
In 2024, we introduced grazing cattle to our farming practices.
After more than fourteen years farming in West Texas, we are invested students of our land. We continue to learn best practices for farming in our dry land environment .
